KamBrass, a brass quintet born in 2017 in Barcelona, is one of the most promising groups on the current music scene. Curiosity and passion for chamber music are the incentives shared by the five friends to create this project. The interest for the premiere of unpublished works, original music for the ensemble and idiomatic arrangements establish versatility as a hallmark, represented through the repertoire at each concert. Always with musicality as the backbone.
During their career they have been awarded with several international prizes. In 2022, they were awarded the 1st Prize of the Philip Jones Brass Prize in Lucerne (Switzerland), the 2nd Prize of the Anton Garcia Abril Chamber Music Competition in Baza, Granada (Spain) and the 2nd Prize of the Cambra Romànica Competition in Andorra.
