Driven by curiosity and a profound passion for chamber music, these five friends embarked on a remarkable project. Their insatiable appetite for premiering unpublished works, crafting original compositions, and creating idiomatic arrangements showcases their versatility, which defines their distinct identity at every concert with unwavering musicality as their guiding principle.

In 2022, they were awarded the 1st Prize of the Philip Jones Brass Preis in Lucerne (Switzerland), the 2nd Prize of the Anton Garcia Abril Chamber Music Competition in Baza, Granada (Spain) and the 2nd Prize of the Cambra Romànica Competition in Andorra. KamBrass was also nominated for the Prix Credit Suisse Jeunes Solistes 2022. In 2021, they won the American Brass Quintet Prize at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition in the United States and they were also semi-finalists of the renowned Juventudes Musicales de España Competition. In December 2020 they received the 2nd Prize at the Orpheus Swiss Chamber Music Competition and the Gold Star Award in the Emergent and Professional categories of the Music and Stars Awards online competition.
They have performed at renowned national and international festivals. Recently, they have received a grant by Jeunesses Musicales International to participate in the renowned Chamber Music Campus 2022 in Weikersheim, Germany, with the artistic director and founder of Artemis Quartet, Heime Müller. In the campus, they were awarded with the participation in the Festival Hohenloher Kultursommer 2023. Also they were selected by the Quartet Casals to participate in the 2nd Conference for Professional Chamber Music Ensembles in Vic, Barcelona and in the Xarxa de Músiques of Joventuts Musicals de Catalunya for the 2022-2023 catalogue; they have also participated in the Barcelona Obertura Spring Festival and Palma Clàssica, performing in emblematic venues such as the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona and the Castell de Bellver in Palma de Mallorca. In Switzerland, they have made their debut at the Musikdorf Ernen Festival, the Swiss Chamber Music Festival in Adelboden, Davos Music Festival, Luzerner Orchesterhaus, among others. They will soon present their project in renowned festivals like Lucerne Festival, as part of the 40 min Special Series; Noja (Santander), as part of the Festival Santander; Burgos; among others.
They complement this activity with academic training with teachers such as Isabel Charisius (Alban Berg Quartet), Antonio Lagares (Azahar Ensemble), Daniel Dodds (Festival Strings Lucerne), Immanuel Richter (Basel Sinfonieorchester), Olivier Darbellay (Berner Sinfonieorchester), Martin Schippers (Concertgebouw Orchestra), Thomas Rüedi (international soloist) and Lukas Christinat (Luzerner Sinfonieorchester). His training began at the Catalonia College of Music (ESMUC) with the professor Pablo Manuel Fernández and continued with the Chamber Music Master at the Hochschule für Musik in Lucerne (Switzerland). Professionals such as Jonathan Brown (Cuarteto Casals), Rainer Schmidt (Hagen Quartet), Matthias Hoffs (German Brass), Achilles Liarmakopoulos (Canadian Brass), the Spanish Brass quintet, among others, have also participated in the academic stage of the group.
